On the afternoon of May 18, 2026, the Party Committee of Da Lat University solemnly organized a ceremony to award the 45-Year Party Membership Badge to Comrade Tran Viet Hung – Former Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party Central Committee, former member of the University Board, and a Party member who has made persistent contributions to the revolutionary cause and Party-building work.
The ceremony was attended by:
- Members of the Executive Committee of the University Party Committee.
- The Board of Directors.
- The Inspection Committee of the Party Committee.
- The Commission for Communication and Education and Mass Mobilization of the University Party Committee.
- Representatives from socio-political organizations, including the Trade Union, the Youth Union, and the Veterans’ Association.
- All Party members from the Party Cell of the Department of Organization and Administration.
At the ceremony, authorized by the higher-level Party Committee:
- Comrade Tran Thong (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee) announced the Decision.
- Comrade Mai Minh Nhat (Secretary of the Party Committee) solemnly presented the 45-Year Party Membership Badge to Comrade Tran Viet Hung, a member of the Party Cell of the Department of Organization and Administration.
This badge is a noble award from the Party, recognizing his 45-year journey of loyalty to revolutionary ideals, continuous learning, self-cultivation, and dedication. It also serves as vivid proof of his consistent implementation of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle throughout his career.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Tran Viet Hung emotionally expressed his honor and pride in receiving this noble badge from the Party. He shared practical experiences and deep memories from his years of work and Party activities, alongside his orientations, expectations, and confidence in the future development of the University Party Committee and Da Lat University. He affirmed that he would continue to maintain the political qualities and revolutionary ethics of a Party member, actively contributing to the development of both the university and the local community.
Representing the University Party Committee, Comrade Mai Minh Nhat (Secretary of the Party Committee) emphasized:
- The conferment of the Party Badge is not only a recognition of an individual member but also reflects the Party’s appreciation and care for long-term contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, as well as the building and defense of Vietnam.
- This is an important political event that helps educate traditions, cultivate revolutionary ideals, and evoke a sense of responsibility and pioneering example among all cadres and Party members, especially the younger generation within the Party Committee.
The 45-Year Party Membership Badge Conferment Ceremony took place in a solemn, warm atmosphere filled with camaraderie. This was not only a personal honor for Comrade Tran Viet Hung but also a deeply meaningful political event for the University Party Committee amidst the joyful celebration of the 136th anniversary of the great President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026).
