On the morning of April 5, 2026, together with more than 135,000 candidates nationwide, students at the Da Lat University test cluster officially entered the 2026 VNU-HCM Competency Assessment Test (Phase 1). With two test sites (Site 86: Da Lat University and Site 87: Bui Thi Xuan High School), the organization of the exam was not only rigorous but also warm and supportive, with thoughtful care for both candidates and their parents.

This year, the Da Lat University test cluster was organized at two modern, well-equipped venues, meeting all requirements for facilities and infrastructure. From early morning, teams of student volunteers were present to guide candidates to their exam rooms, ensuring that procedures were conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.

Understanding the pressure faced by candidates and the concerns of parents while waiting, the University implemented several practical support activities:
- Dedicated waiting area for parents with a spacious and comfortable environment.
- Free drinks and coffee service: Refreshments and coffee were personally served to parents as a sincere gesture of appreciation to those who steadfastly support the candidates.
- Check-in and photo areas: Outside the exam zones, decorative spaces and photo booths were set up. While waiting, many parents enthusiastically captured memorable moments on campus, creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
